NEW! Event-Driven Ads
Meet Event-Driven Ads, the newest addition to the Journey ad offering.
Triggered by specific user actions, they appear at key moments during a visit—rather than sitting in a fixed position on the page—creating an additional revenue opportunity with a more seamless experience.
Optimized with user experience in mind, Event-Driven Ads integrate with typical user browsing patterns for a more seamless ad interaction, and appear based on four key actions:

When ads populate during these optimized moments, the overall experience feels less intrusive, allowing users to engage with ads more naturally. By appearing when users are most likely to engage with ads, like when they complete viewing content on a page, ad viewability is improved and maximizes advertiser value.
Designed to complement existing ad placements, Event-Driven Ads generate additional revenue opportunities without disrupting current monetization streams. Existing ad placement isn’t impacted as Event-Driven Ads integrate seamlessly based on actions taken by users.
To track the performance, we’ve introduced a new report on your dashboard. Under the Ad Unit Report tab, look for the Event-Driven Ads line item to review revenue, impressions, and more.
Go to your Mediavine Dashboard and navigate to Settings > Ad Settings. From there, find the Event-Driven Ads setting and toggle to Enabled. Make sure to save your changes. You’re now serving Event-Driven Ads on your site!
